Cher Calvin and her husband, Aki Oshima, exchanged marital vows on August 8, 2021. Although they were set to fly to Paris to tie the wedding knot in 2020, they had to reconsider due to the emerging delta variant.
The loving duo faced many challenges during their marriage, including Calvin’s wedding dress. Despite all the difficulties, the marriage ceremony came together beautifully at the end.
In addition, they walked down the aisle at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It was a special place for them as the hotel had one room where the romantic duo had their first date.
Moreover, the love birds rocked the floor, dancing to Bruno Mars songs while entering the reception. The groom looked handsome in a Tom Ford suit and Gucci shoes, while the bride wore a Lian Rokman couture dress.
The couple went to Queen’s Bath for their honeymoon. Also, the news presenter’s love for her lover is more than she could express & he is her light, love, and joy.

Calvin’s Husband Is a Banker
Aki Oshima is a banker born in the United States and raised Korean-Japanese. His mother’s name is Chang Oshima, but his father’s name remains vague or unknown.
Furthermore, Oshima hasn’t welcomed any kids with Calvin but already has a son named Kenji Oshima. He was also one of the attendants witnessing his dad and step-mom Calvin’s wedding.
Calvin’s hubby possibly loves to stay low-key and keep his personal life under wraps. He has also kept his Instagram private.
Before romantically linking with Oshima, Calvin shared a relationship with Troy Montero and split in 2003. It was a unilateral decision, and she stopped seeing him to concentrate on her career at that time.
Calvin Returned to Ktla After Two Months of Absence
The 49-year-old Cher Calvin is lucky to have friendly co-workers around her. When she returned to KTLA after a two-month leave, they welcomed her back warmly and gave her flowers.
Calvin also thanked everybody who truly gave their well wishes when she was absent for two months. Likewise, she also felt so good to be back with the KTLA family.
In addition, her co-worker, Pedro, gave her a bag and cited it as a limited edition. This became a funny and memorable moment for Calvin that put a smile on her face.

Cher Calvin shares a close bond with her father, Roger Calvin. She noted that he is her matinee idol and is the one who first introduced her to the showbiz world.
Calvin thanks her for believing in her and refers to Roger as her rock & soul. Her dad has done a great job supporting her and spending many memorable moments traveling together.
Roger and his wife welcomed their little angel Calvin on August 1, 1974. He and his daughter have done it all, from laughing and crying to grieving, being each other’s support.

Misses Her Mother a Lot, Specially on Occasions
Cher Calvin is a sweet daughter who loves her mother very much. Her mother, Dr Delia Santos-Calvin, sadly passed away when she was just twenty years old.
Calvin often misses her, whether it is her parent’s wedding anniversary. Delia’s mother was the eldest of her seven siblings, and she was the family’s first grandchild, which Calvin mentioned in her post.
Calvin felt like her mom had a hand in it from heaven for her beautiful wedding. She wore her mother’s vintage veil during the reception, which looked stunning with her Lian Rokman couture.
It had already been several years since Calvin had seen her mom, and she still misses her badly.
