Elizabeth Chase Olsen is an American actress. Her breakthrough came in 2011 with her performance in the independent thriller drama Martha Marcy May Marlene. Olsen got ballet and singing lessons as a child. Olsen first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 2015 sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch.

She has been a massive fan of Star Wars since she was a teenager. She was reduced to tears when she saw Mark Hamill at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War (2016).
