Gabe Kapler is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in the major leagues for the Tigers, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Tampa Bay from 1998 to 2010. After retiring as a player, Gabe is currently the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) manager.

Gabe Kapler was the 57th round draft pick of the Detroit Tigers in the 1995 Major League Baseball draft and played with them for two years. Then, he played for the Texas Rangers next two years. The athlete was the first Rangers to homer in his first two bats. Yet, only in 2001, he rise to fame among other notorious sportspeople due to his excellent play result.
The baseball star played for the Colorado Rockies team for the following two years, after which he was with Boston Red Sox till 2004. In 2004, Gabe replaced Shwan Green for a $2 million deal and a $700,000 salary to become a member of the Yomiuri Giants team.
