The American actress Lovie Simone Oppong grew up in New York City with a younger brother and two sisters. Among them, Yorie is her twin sister, a musician who goes by the stage name Reiyo The Giant.

Her Twin Sister Marked Half a Year With Her Girlfriend
According to her Twitter bio, Yorie is a lesbian, and she prefers she/they pronouns. In 2020, she officially decided she was ready for a girlfriend. Further, the twin also had a dream where she had two romantic partners.
Forward to 2023, she tweeted that she missed her lover and was getting butterflies just thinking about her. The musician is in very much love with her partner, plus they have enjoyed more than six months of blissful relationship.
She made her first post with her sweet beloved in May 2023 and captioned, “I’m a girlfriend, y’all.” The lovely duo enjoyed each other’s company, and she had taken adorable pictures with her.

Yorie Is an Aspiring Musician
The actress’s twin sister is a physics major at Spelman College in Atlanta and is also interested in art. The talented girl released her first song, Aromantic, on September 24, 2021.
She was born in 1998 and is currently 25 years old. Further, the lovely lady has more than 1K followers on SoundCloud.
She has released a single album, Romeo. Plus, she has made sixteen tracks: You’re Gonna Leave Me, Wednesday Night Phonecall, Luv U Better, Thursday Night, You Are Gonna Miss Me, and many more.
The music listeners have appreciated her songs and said they are so pretty and good.
Besides her music, Yorie is also a caring sister, and they consider each other best friends. She had also accidentally spoiled the end of a show for her sister and had felt bad about it.
When Oppong began acting professionally at nine, she knew what she would do in the future but wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. During the initial years, her supportive sister discovered the classes on online platforms.
Then, the actress’s family took her there, but they couldn’t afford it because the classes were expensive. Then, her professional career began when she took another class and found her agent and manager there. All in all, they are both supportive siblings and have been best friends since birth.

Oppong, her twin sister, and their younger siblings grew up in the Bronx. Their parents raised them uniquely and made them capable of finding their interests and grabbing into them from a young age.
Her dad is from Kumasi, Ghana, and is a U.S. immigrant. He came to the U.S. when he was ten years old. Even though most African parents prioritize education, her dad was different.
Moreover, he supported her decision when she didn’t want to attend college. Her dad is the man who taught her unconditional love, and she appreciates him. Likewise, her mom has always supported everything she’s done so far.
Yorie and Lovie are close to their mom, LaNise, who is from Bronx, U.S. Oppong and her mother slay together, stay together, and are best friends.
Nevertheless, the tight-knit family is still together and resides in Georgia. They celebrate every festival with loads of fun, and the actress often shares glimpses of such fun-filled moments on her social media.
