The American college basketball coach, Niele Ivey, who currently head coaches the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball team, has kept the details of her love life or boyfriend secret.
However, in the early 2010s, she often tweeted about being in a relationship. But what about now?

As of now, the basketball coach has kept the details of her love life low-key. Her social media gives zero to no hints about her relationship, as she mostly posts about her professional ventures.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish head coach, however, used to post about having a partner in the early 2010s. In November 2011, she tweeted on Thanksgiving, saying she was grateful for her family, wonderful friends, amazing son, great boyfriend, and her team and basketball staff.
Also, before that, in August 2011, she replied to a now-deleted tweet saying, “@mrsatpase Sorry, I have a boyfriend and i am only on here for updates on Women’s bball and for Irish recruiting…”
Unfortunately, the basketball coach has revealed little to no regarding her current relationship status. Even if she is seeing someone, she might be trying to protect her partner from media scrutiny. Nevertheless, one can only hope that she becomes more open about her love life in the days to come.

Met Her Baby Daddy at Notre Dame
Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, Ivey was one of the five children of her parents and the youngest in the family. She went to Cor Jesu Academy in her hometown. Ivey, who is the only daughter of her folks, had shown her basketball skills and attracted attention for her long-range shooting.
After graduating high school, she was initially determined to attend the University of North Carolina, where her idol, Michael Jordan, had gone. But when Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw saw Ivey play in a basketball camp in Chapel Hill, McGraw pursued her.
Eventually, Ivey committed to Notre Dame, where her skills helped her achieve significant success. While attending the college, she met Javin Hunter, who would later become her baby daddy. She met Hunter, who played as a wide receiver, on campus.
After that, the couple started dating. It remains a mystery how long they dated or if they were married. Nevertheless, the duo was inseparable. In an interview, she even revealed that he would be the only thing she’d take if she was stuck on a deserted island.
Unfortunately, things did not work out between the pair, and they called it quits. But the exact reason and when the former couple broke up remains a mystery.

Her Son Was Picked 5th in the 2022 NBA Draft
While they were together, Ivey and her then-lover, Javin, welcomed a son, Jaden Ivey, on February 13, 2022. Being born to a mom who is a basketball player and a dad who is an NFL player, it was no wonder that Jaden also got into sports from a very young age.
Initially, Jaden used to play both football and basketball. By his high school freshman year, he honed in basketball. He finished his high school career at Marian, where he scored 958 career points.
After graduating high school, Niele’s son chose Purdue over Notre Dame, Indiana, Butler, and Ohio State. He had a breakout sophomore season at Purdue. During his college days, he also competed for Team USA in the FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia.
Thanks to his excellent skills, in June 2022, Niele’s baby boy was picked fifth overall in the 2022 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. As the team’s fifth first-round pick under general manager Troy Weaver, he joined Cade Cunningham, Killian Hayes, Isaiah Stewart, and Saddiq Bey.
Well, Ivey and her former partner are proud of what Jaden has achieved so far. While her relationship status remains a mystery, her son has reportedly been dating Caitlyn Newton for a long time, and they have even welcomed a son together.
