Ron White’s Unfulfilled Dreams: The Struggle for Success in Love

Last Updated : March 28, 2023

Ron White is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, and author who rose to prominence as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour craze. Ron has established his reputation as a famous celebrity with hard work and dedication. He has also written a book named “I Had the Right to Remain Silent, I Didn’t Have the Ability,” which appeared on the New York Times best-seller list.

Relationship With His Three Wives

The American stand-up comedian achieved tremendous success professionally. He married thrice, but none of his marriages stood up to the wedding promises. Ron has never achieved anticipated success in his married life.

The author, comedian, and actor married his first wife, Lori Brice, in 1991 before he actually made it in the industry. Their togetherness ended after 12 years of a successful relationship when they got divorced in 1993. Their divorce happened shortly after he debuted in the picture. The couple has one son named Marshall White.

Ron White’s dream of finding the perfect partner didn’t end with Lori Brice. After a decade of his split with Lori, he found his second wife, Barbara Dobbs. The couple tied the knot in 2004. Apparently, they were in a lovely relationship and lived together in their home in Atlanta. Unfortunately, like his first relationship, his marriage with Barbara ended in 2008.

After five years of divorce from his first wife, Ron married Margo Rey in 2013. Margo is a successful singer, songwriter, and commercial voiceover artist. She was diagnosed with breast cancer just before meeting with Ron in 2009. Immediately, she underwent a dual mastectomy, but the cancer cells reappeared shortly before she was set to marry the comedian.

While the comedian reportedly helped her to get through the second diagnosis of cancer, she detailed that Ron left her broke at the end. Margo also claimed that she had 30 gigs booked with Ron, which were all canceled. The duo ended their relationship in 2017 after having problems in their married life.
