Israeli journalist Tal Heinrich, who is also a spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, has been with her boyfriend, Asaf Kanari, for quite some time now. Her social media posts often featured her lovely beau.
The lovebirds recently entered into a new phase of their dating life. They decide to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
Heinrich’s Boyfriend Popped the Question
In January 2023, the journalist shared a slide featuring some photos of her with her beau. She announced her engagement as she posted pictures of her donning a ring. She captioned the post, saying,
“Some personal good news to share during a difficult period. We will dance again, love again and prevail again and again and again. Tal&Asaf”
Many congratulated the newly engaged lovebirds. Heinrich’s loving partner popped the question at their home in New York. She had landed back from a month of working in Israel.
Later on, the lovely pair had a celebration at Nobu. However, nothing has been revealed regarding their wedding. The couple might be planning their big day.

The Couple Met on Hinge
Heinrich and her boyfriend met on Hinge. After they started talking, the lovebirds realized that they both had mutual Israeli friends.
Heinrich’s fiance is from Tel Aviv, Israel, the same city where she is originally from. Nevertheless, eventually, the couple started dating.
Unfortunately, the details of their dating timeline remain scarce. But, in December 2022, she uploaded a photo with him and stated that he was her Person of the Year 2022.
Furthermore, the lovely pair made their social media debut in October 2022. Kanari’s fiancee shared a photo of her kissing him at The Brooklyn Mirage. She captioned the post, saying, “The end of summer in one picture. The epitome of my summer.”
Ever since the journalist shared numerous photos with her handsome beau. The lovely duo often travel together. They have been to several places like Miami, New Orleans, Iceland, San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala, Mexico, Massachusetts, etc.
The lovely duo seems to be enjoying every moment to the fullest. Also, they are supportive of one another’s careers and different ventures.

Kanari Graduated From Duke University
Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, Kanari went to the University for Foreigners of Perugia, where he pursued Erasmus Intensive Language Courses (EILC) in Italian Studies. Then, as a part of the Erasmus Exchange Program in Finance, he went to Luiss Business School.
From 2010 to 2013, Heinrich’s boyfriend went to Utrecht University. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Economics degree. He had minored in Finance.
Following that, the Tel Aviv native attended Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2015. He graduated in 2017 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
Talking about his career, Kanari has been serving as the Vice President of Investment Banking at Nomura Greentech. He is also a mentor at Climate First, a climate tech accelerator supporting the most ambitious founders in solving the world’s most pressing problems.
Before that, Heinrich’s beau worked in finance at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for 7 months starting January 2021. He was also an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Deutsche Bank and Head of Strategy at Rentitb.
Moreover, Heinrich’s soon-to-be husband was an analyst of Foreign Financial Institutions Investor Services at Bank Leumi. He also has experience as a Sniper Platoon Sergeant in the IDF.
Overall, the duo seems to be thriving together. Hopefully, the loving pair will soon reveal about their wedding.
