Zohreen Shah currently works for ABC News. She is a Los Angeles-based national reporter predominantly covering stories in the country’s western regions.

Over the span of her career, Shah has closely covered Kamala Harris, Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Yang, and others. She has also been able to travel half the states in the nation over less than a year.

Grew Up in Karachi

As of 2023, Shah’s age is 39 years old. She was born Zohreen Adamjee on June 2, 1984, to her dad and her mom, Sameena Adamjee.

Furthermore, she grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, with her sister, Maheen Adamjee.

In addition, Shah’s mom is the Manager of Case Management at Providence St. Joseph Health. She previously worked as a Nurse Director at Providence Health and Services for over 27 years.

It is not known what her dad does. Nevertheless, the news reporter’s parents have been married for four decades.

Zohreen Shah Had a Surprise Wedding With Her Husband

The reporter is happily married to her lover, Kishi Shah. The love birds tied the knot on July 8, 2017. She shared the news about her big day on her Instagram and wrote, “Our surprise wedding!!”

In the video, the lovebirds came to the balcony and announced that the surprise was for their guest and it was that they were getting married that day.

The lovebirds had invited 200 of their best friends and family from around the world to what they thought was a surprise engagement. They were told that Kishi was going to propose to her in front of everyone.

It was a beautiful ceremony, and the married duo shared heart-touching vows with one another. It was a surprise wedding ceremony that they had been secretly planning ever since they got engaged in July 2016.

A few days later, she shared a photo with their wedding officiator. They had him sign the document, and it was his first surprise and interfaith nuptial he’s officiated. What made it interesting was that he also had the same type of wedding.

Although it has been over a half-decade since they tied the knot, the couple has yet to welcome any child. Nevertheless, they are now pet parents to their dog, Miles Davis Shah.

Their pet has an Instagram account, and according to its bio, he was the Official Coachella 2018 mascot. Furthermore, he is also a Kelsea Ballerini fan.

Has Been with ABC News for Almost Half a Decade

In April 2019, Shah joined ABC News as a full-time reporter. Since then, she has covered stories in the Western regions of the nation for all platforms like Nightline, ABC News Live, Good Morning America, and World News Tonight.

Shah, who has a passion for bringing stories of her South Asian community to the network, has also covered Eid, Diwali, and the first large Holi celebration live on the national morning show. Not only that, but she has also covered wildfires throughout the West, COVID, and others.

The reporter also anchored ABC News Live from Joe Biden’s rally during the Nevada Caucus. Having started her TV career in Sacramento, she has previously worked for numerous TV networks.

Shah, who holds a Master of Science in broadcast journalism degree from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, has worked for KTTV FOX 11, KSWB FOX 5 News, KTXL FOX40 News, CNN, and the Los Angeles Times.
