Aaron McGruder is a cartoonist, writer, and producer best known for creating the comic strips and animated TV adaption of The Boondocks. Along with being the creator, he was also the executive producer and the head writer.

Because of the popularity of the comics, it was adapted into an animated TV show which aired on Adult Swim Cartoon Network.
