Alicia Acuna (Boyd) is a Senior Correspondent on FOX News Channel (FNC). She served in the network’s Denver bureau and joined that channel in 1997. Besides her professional life, she leads a blissful life with her lovely husband.

Furthermore, she serves as a rotating panelist on Fox News and sometimes also hosts live news.

Acuna’s Cancer Survivor Husband And Children

Her partner, Brian D. Boyd, had fought against cancer and had managed to survive. On May 5, 2015, she made a tweet, “Make that six years my dear husband, Boyd, has been kicking cancer’s [expletive].”

Now, her lover has crossed 14 years while being cancer-free. Plus, their family also celebrated the 13th year mark.

Moreover, the correspondent is proud of her lover and has referred to him as a warrior. Now, Boyd has been cancer-free for over a decade and leads a low-key life as he has kept his Instagram account private and is not active on Twitter.

The couple has shared two children. At first, they were blessed with a baby daughter, Sofia Acuna. Then eventually, Acuna and Boyd welcomed a new family member to their family, their son, Mario Acuna.

However, Boyd already had three sons, Noah, Daniel, and Aidan, from his past relationship. Well, the cancer survivor hasn’t revealed much about his former partner.

Well, a few months ago, the news host’s son, along with her two stepsons and a niece, were in grave danger. They were students at East High School who had to experience a shooting incident that took place on March 22, 2023. It was a horrifying moment for her.

But, later on, the correspondent received a phone call from her son. Mario said that he was fine but wouldn’t be able to get out of school for some time. Thankfully, all of her stepson and niece returned unharmed.

The reporter spoke as a mom while reporting that event and tightly hugged her son when he got out of school.

Alicia Acuna’s Eye isn’t Injured

Media personalities have to work in front of the camera to interact with their audiences in order to clearly communicate information. One day, the then-Twitter user @mplyons01 claimed that she had an eye condition known as lazy eye.

The bold correspondent didn’t let that tweet slide. At first, the 53-year-old thanked that individual. Then, she responded, “Except I don’t technically have a lazy eye; one is simply smaller than the other.”

Furthermore, she was respectful to that user and also bid farewell. However, the comment made by the user is not available as the account has been currently suspended.

Nevertheless. her visual apparatus is perfectly fine despite being seen with glasses.

Her Mother and Father Divorced When She was 13

Alicia Acuna was born in Whittier, California. She later grew up in the southern part of Arizona and California. Her mommy, Carmen Gastelum, brought her into this world on May 28, 1970.

Moreover, her mother and father consider themselves Chicano, and she is a second and third-generation Mexican-American.

Unfortunately, her parents divorced during her early teenage days. After that, her old man moved to San Diego.

All in all, she is really a mama’s girl, as she has made many Instagram posts with her mommy. Recently, the News Correspondent wished her mom Happy Mother’s Day and expressed that she loves her very much.

Likewise, Acuna had also wished her mom in 2016. On the post, she had penned, “Thank you for all the patience, laughter, and love. Happy Mother’s Day to our mama/nana/yaya/.”
