Unlike other kids, she had unique interests; watching the evening news was essential to her day. Surprisingly, she climbed the ladder at nine and became an accomplished journalist.
At the age of nine, she began to journal in a newspaper, “Windsor Chronicle,” and wrote a series of events in a factual and detailed way about the daily happenings of her apartment building.

Abovian’s Family Fled Armenia as Refugees
Ellina Abovian was born to her parents, who fled the country as refugees when she was just a year old. Before going to America, her family stopped in Italy for some time.
When they reached Hollywood, it was a huge cultural shock to them. Nothing was like their country, and her family didn’t speak the language. Further, they didn’t even know anyone there.
A month after they arrived in the U.S., her fortunate family moved to Glendale, which had an Armenian population. The people from their community helped them feel homely and could easily transition into their American lives.
The reporter’s father and mother are the real MVP of her life. Her parents are both Armenian and Russian, and they sacrificed and gave up everything to move the journalist and her brother towards a brighter future.
Moreover, she is close to her parents and wishes them warmly on Mother’s and Father’s days. She affectionately calls her daddy, Daddio, and KTLA 5 shared the dad and daughter’s picture during Father’s Day of 2016.
Similarly, she calls her mom a beautiful Leo lady and never fails to wish her a happy birthday. Further, the journalist never misses wishing her mother-in-law a happy birthday.
Her late grandmother, Lilya, was a Russian who took her last breath on July 23, 2022, at the age of 95. Her family are close to each other as they were seen celebrating her grandma’s last birthday.
Overall, She is close to her family and is grateful for her parents’ struggles and sacrifices.
Together With Her Husband for More Than a Decade

And the journalist has said, “Romance is necessary; Valentine’s Day is not.” Likewise, she also made a similar post in 2018, saying that she doesn’t like Valentine’s Day but loves her man.
Moreover, her husband is seen playing with their two children on the beach in Malibu, California. She often wishes her spouse a happy birthday.
For instance, once, when she wished him a birthday, people in the comment section called him Naz, which could be his name.

Christopher is a bright, sensitive, sweet little soul and the journalist’s golden boy. She describes her younger boy as a soul-wrenching, yummy little boy. Plus, she couldn’t love more of his eyes, dimples, and attitude.
