French Was Married to Her First Husband for Seven Years
The divorce from her previous partner had broken French into pieces, and she had to settle for a cabin on her parents’ land. It was a bitter divorce, and she had to fight the custody battle for her son, Jaim.
The chef’s former partner was a boat builder, and they were married in 2006. Furthermore, the ex-couple opened the first Lost Kitchen. The restaurant was run out of their apartment in Belfast, Maine.
Running the restaurant was a stressful experience for her. It led her to build up anxiety and insomnia. It got worse, and she had to take medicine for that disorder.
However, she became addicted to the medication and had to go through rehab. She came out from there free of addiction, but to her surprise, her former partner had changed the locks and closed her restaurant.
Then, it was a turning point for her, and they signed divorce papers in 2013. Nevertheless, Erin has come a long way from her tumultuous days.
