Jon Courson is a famous American Author and a Bible studies teacher. He is the author of a Future and a Hope, A Day’s Journey, And a Place for You, A-Pillar by Day, and the three-volumes Jon Courson’s Application Commentary.
He was the founder of Applegate Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church in southern Oregon with a congregation of twenty people in 1977.

Jon was in love with the artists and a blogger named Tammy Courson. They later got married in 1985. They have two children together named Mary and Christy.
Tammy is the second wife of the author. His first marriage was going fine until his first wife and his 16 years old daughter, Jessie, died in a horrific car accident. Apart from Jessie, he and his first wife had two other children named Peter-Jon and Ben.
This incident wasn’t the only tragedy that the author had to face. His son Peter-Jon had a very serious health issue. As an adult, he had to fight Crohn’s Disease for about 20 years and got diagnosed with colon cancer.
He had also gone through brain surgery. Peter was hospitalized several times because of his disease. He left this world on 2019 February 5, leaving behind his four daughters, wife, and father. Losing his three-family member was the most depressing part of the author’s life.
