Briella Tomassetti, born in Queens, New York, and raised on Long Island, currently works at Fox News. She joined Fox 5 New York News as a general assignment reporter in April 2019.

Having started her career as a student journalist by writing, editing, and field-producing weekend segments for sister station FOX 29 Philadelphia, Tomassetti earned a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Delaware.

Her Parents Celebrated Their 30th Anniversary in 2023

The Emmy award-winning journalist has a great relationship with her parents. Her father and mother have been together for a long time and are still going strong.

In 2023, her mom, Janine Negri Tomassetti, and her dad celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in July.

Tomassetti often shares her picture with her father and mother on social media. Recently, in October, she shared a picture with her mom, saying, “When you call your parents on a Saturday night and say, WYD… wanna go out?”

Tomassetti’s mom is a licensed real estate agent at Douglas Elliman. She joined the company in February 2022.

Briella expressed her gratitude for her mom’s perseverance teachings and wished her a happy Mother’s Day in May 2020. Furthermore, she stated without her enormous heart and selflessness, she would not be the person she is today.

Briella Tomassetti has two siblings: a sister, Gianna Marie, and a brother, Giovanni Tomassetti. She shares a close bond with her siblings.

Talking about her sister, Gianna is employed at the University of Miami Hospital as a neurosurgical physician assistant. She celebrated her 26th birthday in September 2023.

On her birthday, Tomassetti never fails to make birthday wishes. In 2019, she wished her lovely and intelligent sister a happy birthday and cheers for moving into her first apartment and job as a legitimate NYC resident. One year ago, Briella’s Instagram account was suspended for posting a few bikini photos. Her sister stood up for her and shared screenshots of her conversation with Briella.

According to Gianna, Briella has suffered from body dysmorphia her entire life. She finally felt comfortable enough to share pictures where she felt good in her skin.

But then she received a call from Kristin Thorne of ABC Channel 7 news, who called her out for sharing such photos. Gianna believed that women should empower and support each other instead of belittling one another.

Gianna exclaimed that she was disgusted at Kristin’s words and actions. She also requested netizens to share and repost it. Also, shortly after the phone call, the news reporter’s Instagram was shut down.

Has Reained Mum about her Relationship

Briella Tomassetti’s love life hasn’t been disclosed yet. She neither shared a picture with her boyfriend nor indicated a hint.

She frequently shares her picture with her parents and siblings. However, she has kept a mystery to people about her dating and is possibly unmarried.

Nevertheless, her sister could be in a relationship, looking at some of her Instagram pictures. But it’s not confirmed yet.
