Jason Alan Carvell and his wife, Laura, have been enjoying married life with their two beautiful daughters, Hattie and Lola. He and his family had visited the grave of human rights activist Malcolm X.
The actor and his family went there because he played the role of that personality in the TV series Godfather of Harlem.
Furthermore, he shared another snap of her daughter, Hattie, on Twitter in March 2020. There, he captioned, “Our Hattie is doing her best to keep us entertained.” Besides, he hasn’t shared much about his other daughter, Lola.
Plus, the actor hasn’t uploaded any pictures of his wife, Laura, and she has also managed to stay away from social platforms.
Moreover, the guy was also seen working with another female actor while filming for the Belmont. He has also done on-screen romantic scenes in films like Lovely, Show & Tell Tango, and many more.

His Father Was a Creative and Innovative Professor
Carvell’s family suffered a significant loss this year. His father, Dr. George E. Carvell, died at 77 on March 5, 2023.
He had lived a wonderful life with his beloved wife, Lynne O. P. Carvell, and four children, Allison Thuy Caprino, Jonathan Edward Carvell, Jason Alan Carvell, and Deborah Ann Smith.
For nearly 46 years, he worked as a teacher at the Univesity of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and was honored as Professor Emeritus. Jason’s father had a passion for the STEM field during the early days, which led him to major in biology at Gettysburg College.
George taught science to eighth graders. When he went to them, he felt they weren’t as eager as he had been during his teenage years. This made him pursue a different field, and he started to study physical therapy, where he developed an interest in neuroscience.
Then, he also practiced PT and taught it while he enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Neurobiology, Anatomy, and Cell Science. His research was related to physiology, anatomy, and the behaviors of rats. George is remembered for his teaching expertise.
Furthermore, he also received the university’s Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award because of his illustrative and innovative ways of explaining concepts to students. Moreover, George is remembered for his sense of humor in the classroom. The Carvell family had requested the guests to wear the Pitt colors of gold and blue.
Overall, his father lived a profound life and will remain forever in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, relatives, students, and colleagues.

The handsome man is known for bringing out the life of a character while acting. As he was trained in Russia, he was exposed to many accents. Further, he also knows various languages. Carvell is also known for his roles in The Baker and the Beauty (2020), Ancient Skies (2019), and NCIS: New Orleans (2014).
Moreover, he has also starred in other movies and TV shows like Ruthless, Cinema Toast, Elementary, Wolverine (Podcast series), Blue Bloods, Better Off Single, Blindspot, and many more.
Carvell is well known for taking the role of Malcolm X, the historical figure in real life. However, he didn’t play the role from the start of the season but replaced Nigél Thatch, who had starred in that role for the first two seasons.
Carvell said he was a bit nervous when he had to play the role of Malcolm X. Furthermore, he did as much research as possible. But after talking with the directors and writers of the movie sets, he knew that they already had it under control.
The middle-aged actor found the story truthful, and all he had to do was navigate the way to embody the soul of Malcolm X into his body.
Furthermore, he got to work with a fantastic cast. When he first arrived, he was shocked to see the expertise and talents of other actors. They welcomed him and said that they would play a little bit to find some truth in that story and use the connections.
